Do You Sleep Long Enough ?

A recent finding posted in Archives Internal Medicine says that a person who sleeps less then 7.5 hours per day has a higher risk of heart disease. The risk of heart attack among these group of people also relates with high blood pressure.


Modern community’s lifestyle has turned slumber into a rare commodity. The research shows that sleeping less or shorter duration of sleep may cause abnormally high blood pressure and breathing problem during our sleep at night, further on these will lead to higher risk of cardiovascular diseases like stroke and even sudden heart stoppage.

Therefore, no matter how busy we are, try to sleep long enough.
